We handle appeals of federal and state litigation, both on their cases and those that have been overseen in the trial court by another firm. In addition, our appellate lawyers handle a wide range of services involving appeals and related legal issues, including: briefing and arguing appeals on the merits; preparing and opposing petitions for review in the United States Supreme Court and in state courts; providing advice and assistance in briefing significant legal issues at the trial court level; advising clients on appellate issues during and after trial; handling agency appeals before various regulatory bodies; and preparing amicus curiae briefs.
