Dan Couch focuses his practice on assisting businesses and families with a variety of legal needs, including litigation, construction, real estate, corporate services, probate and trusts, as well as home owners association matters. 

While Dan's home base is in the Oklahoma City office, he also frequently works from the Denver office. Born and raised in Oklahoma, he has a strong commitment to public service and has volunteered and served many philanthropic organizations throughout the state.

Prior to graduate school, Dan worked for Farmers Insurance Group as a Specialty Claims Adjuster. While earning his law degree and M.B.A., he served as a student law clerk for the Honorable Arlene Johnson of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. 

Dan has vast experience assisting his clients, including:

  • Serves as de facto general counsel to several businesses
  • Successfully defended various construction companies regarding breach of contract and negligent construction matters
  • Successfully prosecuted and defended breach of contract and related matters for multiple companies
  • Successfully prosecuted and defended various lawsuits involving breach of fiduciary duty
  • Successfully prosecuted and defended various family members in myriad roles regarding probate and trust litigation matters
  • Successfully negotiated and closed multiple commercial real estate transactions, including commercial sales and leases
  • Successfully negotiated and closed multiple mergers, acquisitions and inter-company ownership and management changes
  • Guided and counseled myriad clients through various business transactions and strategic decisions
  • Prepared, analyzed, and/or negotiated hundreds of contracts regarding a multitude of subjects
  • Formed multiple businesses in several states
  • Assisted multiple land developers in acquiring, preparing, building, forming and operating owners' associations and selling property
  • Assisted owners' associations with various covenant issues
