Tom Schroedter focuses his practice on energy-related matters, including state and federal regulatory matters and administrative law and administrative litigation. He assists clients on issues involving policy decisions, rulemakings, and utility rate-related filings before regulatory agencies such as the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, the Arkansas Public Service Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on behalf of large consumers of energy. Tom also assists clients in all aspects of the legislative process including legislative strategy, negotiations, bill drafting, coalition management and legislative monitoring.
In 2016, at the request of Oklahoma's U.S. Representative Jim Bridenstine, Tom was asked as the Executive Director of firm client, Oklahoma Industrial Energy Consumers, to provide testimony to the United States House of Representatives Subcommittee of Environment regarding the EPA's Regional Haze Program and its impact on Oklahoma ratepayers.
