Thomas “Teak” H. Hull

Teak Hull focuses his practice on the defense of healthcare providers in medical malpractice and related civil litigation. Throughout his career, he has successfully defended complex medical malpractice claims from inception through trial on behalf of hospitals, health systems, physicians, and allied healthcare providers.

In addition to acute-care providers, Teak regularly represents long-term care facilities, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, physical and occupational rehabilitation facilities and providers, behavioral and mental health providers, and other post-acute and specialty care entities in a wide range of healthcare-related disputes.

Teak also has significant experience handling complex and novel electronic discovery issues, particularly those involving electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare data platforms. He has advised clients on the development of defensible e-discovery processes and practices and has served as lead counsel in discovery disputes involving large, complex datasets, audit trails, and system-generated records.

A self-professed technology-oriented attorney, Teak routinely seeks out, develops, and deploys technology-driven litigation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and strategic advantage when defending his clients.
