Connor M. Andreen

Connor Andreen is a litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, business disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and creditors’ rights. He represents businesses, municipalities, creditors, and other clients in high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts.

Connor has experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes, including claims involving breach of contract, tortious interference with contractual and business relationships, misappropriation of confidential and proprietary business information, and other business torts. His bankruptcy practice focuses on complex contested matters and adversary proceedings, including fraudulent-transfer, preference and other avoidance actions, nondischargeability proceedings, and other disputes arising under the Bankruptcy Code.

Connor has substantial courtroom experience, including both jury and bench trials in federal district and bankruptcy courts. His experience spans all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and case strategy through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and post-trial proceedings. He has obtained favorable results for clients at trial and on dispositive motions, including a complete defense verdict following a federal jury trial, conversion of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy following a contested bench trial, and summary judgment in a nondischargeability action.

Connor graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he served on the Oklahoma Law Review and earned membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif, an honorary society for graduates in the top 10% of their class. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jerome A. Holmes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Federal Jury Trial. Complex Water-Territory Litigation. Represented an Oklahoma municipality in a federal jury trial involving claims concerning approximately 650 water customers and approximately $2.7 million in claimed damages. Obtained a complete defense verdict on all issues and as to all customers.

Bankruptcy Bench Trial. Represented a secured creditor seeking conversion of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case to Chapter 7. Following a contested bench trial, obtained an order converting the case to Chapter 7 in a published opinion. See In re C.M. Heavy Machinery, LLC, 671 B.R. 309 (Bankr. E.D. Okla. 2025).

Nondischargeability Action. Represented creditors in a bankruptcy adversary proceeding seeking to except a state-court judgment from discharge under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(6). Obtained summary judgment determining the debt to be nondischargeable. See Nitzel v. Nunley, 2026 WL 2672047 (Bankr. N.D. Okla. Sept. 8, 2026).

Commercial Litigation. Represented an automobile dealership in a commercial dispute involving conversion of business property under Title 42 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Obtained summary judgment in the client’s favor.

Discrimination Litigation. Represented a private educational institution in a discrimination action in Oklahoma state court. Obtained dismissal of discrimination claims asserted under the Oklahoma Anti-Discrimination Act.

Trust Litigation. Represented trustee in breach of trust and fiduciary duty action against co-trustee. Obtained summary judgment authorizing the trustee to liquidate and distribute trust.

Bad Faith litigation. Successfully represented insurance company in the District Court in and for Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, resulting in summary judgment on the plaintiff’s claim that the insurer violated its duty to act in good faith and deal fairly with the plaintiff.
