Pro Bono

While we have always taken pride in the pro bono work we have performed throughout the years, the cornerstone of our pro bono program today is a partnership with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and The Williams Companies. Together we represent low-income and elderly Oklahomans with civil legal problems and as guardians ad litem in family and probate court. We are pleased to say that more than one-third of our employees take part in the program.

On November 13, 2008, Hall Estill, along with The Williams Companies and Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, received the Pro Bono Partner Award, presented by the Pro Bono Institute. Click here to read about the partnership.
In 2010, this partnership was featured in the “Passing it Forward” feature in InsideCounsel magazine.
James J. Proszek and Steven W. Soule were presented the 2010 Pro Bono Award by the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Susanna M. Gattoni serves as Chairperson of the Pro Bono Program for the Federal Western District of Oklahoma.
On January 7, 2011, Hall Estill was recognized by Chief Judge Miles-LaGrange of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, for the firm's participation in the Federal Bar Association's Pro Bono Program. Click here to read the letter of recognition.
