Transactions/Real Estate

We assist clients with due diligence and the evaluation of environmental aspects of financing, merger and acquisition, sale and development of real property, assets and businesses. We draft environmental representations and warranties, as well as indemnification language, for commercial merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions. In addition, we work with environmental consultants/engineers to produce and/or review evaluation materials, including Phase I and II Environmental Assessments.

Our attorneys are leaders regionally and nationally in developing the standards and techniques used in merger and acquisition environmental issues, having authored the Oklahoma section of Brownfields: A Comprehensive Guide to Redeveloping Contaminated Property, Revised Edition, published by the American Bar Association.
