Nathaniel T. Haskins

Mr. Haskins began his career with Hall Estill in 2009, and he works primarily in general litigation.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Haskins worked for four and a half years as a senior tax consultant for Ryan (formerly Ryan & Company). Among other things, Mr. Haskins assisted his clients in the following: filing property tax returns, applying for various property tax exemptions, preparing property valuations, handling and negotiating property tax appeals, and obtaining property tax and sales and use tax refunds. In addition to the experience and training Mr. Haskins received at Ryan, he also received training from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals, the Appraisal Institute, and the Appraisal for Ad Valorem Taxation of Communications, Energy, and Transportation Properties. In 2006, Mr. Haskins left his career to attend law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

While in law school, he served as Articles Development Editor for the American Indian Law Review. He authored "Framing Concurrent Jurisdiction Issues in the Self-Determination Era: Accepting the First Circuit’s Analysis but Rejecting its Application to Preserve Tribal Sovereignty," 32 Am. Indian L. Rev. 441 (Spring 2008). He also earned American Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure II, Research & Writing, and Professional Responsibility. In addition to his legal training, Mr. Haskins is an Oklahoma State Certified Mediator.
