Michael D. Cooke

Mr. Cooke serves as the firm’s President/Managing Partner and has been with the firm since 1980. He has an individual AV rating through Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected as a Best Lawyer in America in Communications Law, Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions Law, as well as recognized as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer in Business/Corporate Law.

Mr. Cooke has been involved in every aspect of the Energy and Telecommunications industries during his career and has handled hundreds of acquisitions in those fields.  His most recent transactions have included:

• Acquisition of more than $500 million in properties in the Marcellus Shale;
• Investment of more than $500 million by a middle eastern sovereign fund in a U.S. midstream company.
