Ty E. Schoenhals is an associate in the firms Litigation Group and primarily focuses his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation Defense, Professional Malpractice & Liability Defense, and Tort & Insurance Defense. He also assists clients in the areas of bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. Ty routinely practices in the federal and state courts of Oklahoma and has practiced in a number of other federal courts, including Texas, Georgia, and Oregon.
Ty is a member of the firm's Recruitment & Diversity Committee and currently serves on the University of Oklahoma College of Law – Young Alumni Board, assisting the college with fundraising. In addition, he sits on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board of Directors. The Oklahoma Hall of Fame Second Century Board is a group of young professionals who support the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Ty began his legal career with Hall Estill upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with honors. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Ty served as Assistant Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review for the 2017-2018 academic year. Ty was also a member of the University of Oklahoma College of Law team which won the 2018 Andrews Kurth Kenyon Moot Court National Championship.
